OVERVIEW

Research and Development is vital to ensure that science and innovation is carried forward within the UK. Emerging technologies have the underlying potential to drive future economic growth, which through suitable investment and time can be achieved.

The Governments commitment to the ‘Science and Innovation Investment Framework 2004-2014’ has been further reinforced with Gordon Browns pledges in the March 07 budget, with increased investment in sciences from £5billion in 07 to £6.3billion in 2010-11.
