Climate Change 08

OVERVIEW

Climate change and energy concerns are now at the forefront of public policy in Britain – concerns over greenhouse gas emissions, clean energy, and the impacts of our changing climate have gripped the nation like never before. The emission reduction targets have been established; the time for meaningful reductions has arrived.

"The UK is on track to meet and go well beyond its Kyoto commitments, but as a country we must do much more across the board. We have to make a real change to every aspect of our lives and our economy. The Government is taking steps to make that happen"
Hilary Benn MP Environment Secretary
