"I think I can safely say it was the best organised, structured and as a result, the most enjoyable Golf Day I have attended. You should be congratulated on being involved with such a good event at an excellent venue." The PPP Journal’s first annual Golf Day went with a swing, as key figures from across the PFI/PPP world convened at the Belfry on April 26th 2007 for fun and networking along the legendary course’s 18 holes. Following the great success of this inaugural event, we are pleased to announce that the PPP Golf Day will now be an annual fixture in the PFI/PPP Calendar, with next year’s event now confirmed to take place on 24th April, once again in the delightful surroundings of the Belfry. Kicking off with 2 hours of PGA-standard instruction on the driving range and a light-hearted 18 hole putting competition on the Brabazon, players will have the opportunity to build their golfing skills as well their contact books. Following a delicious lunch in the club house, attendees then get to enjoy 5 1/2 hours of uninterrupted golfing on one of the world’s most famous courses. Expert instruction will be available throughout the day from Gary Alliss, Captain of the Great Britain & Ireland team for this year’s PGA Cup, who offers his views on the day’s best golfing in his post-game analysis at the evening drinks reception. As with last year, attendees end the day with a luxurious, three-course dinner, followed by further entertainments at the on-site Bel Air nightclub. After a long day of great golfing and high living, our Golfers can retire for the night at the sumptuous, four-star Belfry hotel. If you would like to take part in 2008’s PPP Golf Day, contact Craig Stubbs on 01782 620 088 or Mike McCormack on 0161 832 7387. Places are strictly limited, so book today to confirm your place for this unmissable networking opportunity! Video highlights of the inaugural Golf Day are available for download now.
