Miss Barbera Hewitt – Press Officer, HSE
Being the last speaker of the day, especially in a London venue, you are always worried the auditorium will be empty as delegates slope off to do some shopping or get the train home. However, I was delighted to find that the vast majority of delegates remained until the very end and were still full of enthusiasm. This is to the great credit of the organisers who staged a stimulating and fun program enjoyed by all and they should be applauded for their efforts.
Nigel Manser – National Concern for Healthcare Infections
This sort of conference should be obligatory for Council Leaders and Chief Executives.
The presentations were clear, interesting and relevant.
A hugely important event.
Yvette Cooper – Minister for Housing and Planning
I would like to congratulate you on Public Service Review: European Union issue 13. I welcome your investigations, which offer a broad overview of the major challenges that the European Union faces. This review, which features contributions from European Commissioners, ministers, as well as senior executives from European companies, represents an important contribution to the debate over policies of the EU.
Vladimir Spidla – European Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs & Equal Opportunities
