David Laverick, PPF Pensions Ombudsman - Getting LGPS administration right
 David Laverick has been Pensions Ombudsman since September 2001. He has recently also been appointed as the first PPF Ombudsman. Prior to his appointment as Pension Ombudsman, he had been Chief Executive of the Family Health Service Appeal Authority. He has long been an advocate of Ombudsman systems having spent 20 years as a Director of the Local Government Ombudsman Service. He also holds a Judicial Appointment as the President of the Adjudication Panel for England, established by the Local Government Act 2000.
