DELEGATE FAQ

Delegate Ticket Prices

The delegate rate is £395 + VAT

What time can I register?

(Please note times are subject to change but any changes will be confirmed by email)

The registration desk will be open to delegates from 8:30am until 09:30am on the morning of 19thMay 2009.

Please see the programme for all other timings.

Can I see a floor plan and exhibition list?

An exhibitor list is available on the event website. A floor plan will be given to you on the day of the event in your delegate pack.

Will I be sent a pack and delegate tickets?

You will be given your delegate pack upon registration. We do not send out delegate packs or tickets in advance.

What are the security arrangements at the conference?

Upon registration, you will be given a delegate pack with your badge in. Please wear badges at all times. Failure to do so may result in non-entry. Please allow sufficient time to register.

Can I smoke in the venue?

Smoking is not permitted inside the venue.

Do I need to pre-book for the masterclasses?

There will be no ticketing system for these sessions and admission will be on a first come, first served basis on the day. Details of masterclasses are available on this website.

Where will I get information whilst I am at the event?

Both the registration desk and organisers office will be manned all day should you require any assistance.

Is there adequate access for wheelchair users?

All areas of the venue are accessible for wheelchair users.

How do I get there?


Car

The Barbican is well sign-posted and has four car parks, all of which can be accessed from Silk St. There is a height restriction of 1.85 metres (6‘1").

Disabled patrons can obtain a free car park voucher by presenting their orange badge at the Box Office, Information Points and kiosks in Cinemas 1 and 2. The best place to park is in Car Park 3 off Silk St.

Underground

The nearest Underground station is Barbican, on the Circle, Metropolitan and Hammersmith & City lines. To reach the Barbican, exit the station and cross Aldersgate Street in front of you. Walk through the road tunnel (Beech Street) before taking the first turning right into Silk Street . The Barbican is straight ahead of you. Alternatively, exit the station using the stairs to the first floor, crossing the road using the footbridge before following the signs to the Barbican. Other Underground stations nearby are Moorgate, St Paul‘s, Bank, Liverpool Street and Mansion House.

Train

The nearest rail stations are Liverpool Street, Farringdon, Blackfriars and City Thameslink. Please note City Thameslink is only open until 9pm weekdays and Saturday, and is closed on Sunday.
