The latest in Public Service Events' hugely successful series of NHS procurement conferences attracted a capacity crowd to the Manchester Conference Centre. Delegates heard from a programme of high profile speakers, discussing the vision for a new NHS procurement strategy. Last year's National Audit Office and Public Accounts Committee reports were a shot across the bows for the NHS, said keynote speaker Lord Hunt, stressing that significant improvement will be expected over the next two years. The event, sponsored by NHS Shared Business Services, also featured a range of interactive masterclass sessions and great networking opportunities in the packed exhibition areas.
