The Health and Safety Reform conference took place at the Barbican Centre, London to a packed audience, a testimony to the relevance of such an event. The springboard for the conference was the publication of Lord Young's report on reforming health and safety legislation to reflect a more common sense approach. Over 250 delegates attended to hear an exceptional line up of speakers including HSE chair Judith Hackitt and chairman of the Olympic Delivery Authority, John Armitt, and the presentations throughout the day stimulated much discussion as to how the future regulation would impact on health and safety outcomes. The conference benefited from informative masterclass sessions and delegates had the opportunity to network with likeminded health and safety professionals throughout the day.
