Carrying on our theme created through Civil Protection 07: Building Resilience through Communication and Co-operation, Public Service Events is taking a deeper look into the specific agenda surrounding the major impacts on today’s society caused by the recent flooding.With the latest announcements of £34.5 million to be spent over the next three years implementing the recommendations of the Pitt Review, the Bellwin Scheme releasing a further £2.5 million in funding, taking the total over £15 million paid to local councils, flooding is now at the forefront of public attention, as communities are still lacking the vital support they require.
