OVERVIEW
Set in motion by "Transformational Government: Enabled by Technology" published by the e-government unit in November 2005, the transformational government agenda is one of perpetual importance to public bodies as technology progresses and new issues arise. The scope for revolution in service delivery through the use of new technologies is no less present than when the initial report was published. On 8th July 2008 Public Service Events will host Transformational Government: Services for the 21st Century in order to set out the current priorities, provide solutions to those issues, and map out the future of the transformational government agenda.
