The PFI Journal’s first annual Golf Day went with a swing, as key figures from across the PFI world convened at the Belfry on April 26^th for fun and networking along the legendary course’s 18 holes.

Kicking off with 2 hours of PGA-standard instruction on the driving range and a light-hearted 18 hole putting competition on the Brabazon, players not only broadened their contact books, but developed their technique under expert guidance from the Belfry's team of instructors and 'King of Swing' Gary Alliss, who toured the course throughout the day with camcorder in hand (footage can be viewed on the Videos page), recording the golfers in action ready for his analysis of the day’s best golfing at the evening drinks reception.

After lunch at the club house, the attendees headed out in fine weather for 5 ½ hours of uninterrupted golf, with the team from thePFI.net eventually emerging triumphant and SMIF a close second. It was only appropriate that this success was celebrated with a luxurious three-course dinner, and golfers enjoyed fine food and wine into the night, topped off with further entertainments at the on-site Bel Air nightclub.
