“Making the UK an attractive place for pharmaceutical research and development”
The government is introducing a suite of fiscal measures to stimulate innovation and growth for start-ups and SMEs through to large global enterprises, incentivising early-stage investment and nurturing the best innovations through the translational funding gap to a point at which they can secure follow-on investment. These include a reduction in the rate of corporation tax and the introduction of the Patent Box.
