At Public Service Events' inaugural Innovation in Healthcare conference, an audience of delegates from across healthcare heard from a programme of outstanding speakers about the best ways to bring innovation into the NHS. Key issues addressed included the lack of leadership and communication; the importance of the patient perspective; and the need for more effective use of information to provide patients with greater choice and control, helping to bridge gaps between different parts of the health system, and helping to drive more efficiency in the NHS.
