| Slough PFI Education Project Reaches Financial Close |
|
QED, a consortium based around Wates Construction, has reached financial close on the £44 million Slough Schools project. The construction of the three brand new schools has already commenced.
The project will mean exciting 21st century schools for Beechwood, Arbour Vale and William Penn Schools, with buildings that will provide the staff and pupils with modern facilities for teaching and learning which they so need and deserve.
The scheme will provide new sport, leisure, professional development and adult learning facilities. For the first time in Slough, a 12 place residential unit for children with autism will also be provided. |
